It was an emotional episode of it Chateau Meiland. After weeks of preparation, the moment was really there: the moving van was at the door. Montana and Maxime therefore decided to give their father one last farewell gift. They had seen a “beautiful” boar’s head that would fit perfectly into his new home. “What is that móói”, the lord of the castle responds enthusiastically. “I have now collected so many animal heads, it will be one big zoo in my living room.”

The move does not start too smoothly. “We just have to keep going”, Martien responds when it becomes clear that not all things can be returned to the Netherlands. The car, which is packed, provides the necessary emotions for the lord of the castle. “Here we go again”, he looks on sentimental. “I just think it’s awful. I think it’s weird.” They don’t really leave until the day after, so it’s time for their favorite hobby. “Girl, I feel like a glass of wine”, Martien says.

The Meilandjes have not only had fun in the chateau. Family friend Caroline had to leave France earlier because it no longer wanted to raft with the family. In fact, things got so out of hand that she would have been bribed to stay away from the family, as can be seen in the video below.
