Marta had decided to present her debut in English in a very impressive manner – gathering like-minded people in the “Amoralle Level Up” salon to immerse themselves in memories of their past and future plans in a somewhat light-hearted atmosphere, while presenting the latest musical performances together. It must be said that the song “Losing Game” is an unexpectedly convincing and safe application for the Western market – experts even call for similarities with Taylor Swift, however, the single still has Marta’s handwriting with a light playful touch in the song.
“I felt that I craved change in my creative life, and it happened easily and organically – I was invited to an international songwriting camp, where I discovered that I can write song lyrics in English as well, and I accepted this invitation, which gave me completely new creative horizons,” says In March. “The song ‘Losing Game’ is an ironic message about what it’s like to be a woman in 2023 – winning seems impossible, yet I keep playing the game.” The author of the music and lyrics of the song is Marta herself, but the production was entrusted to JJ Lush (Jānis Yachmenkins), with whom Marta has collaborated before.

It should be noted that the presence of the English language in the creative process is no stranger to Marta, as she once studied for three years in London, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in musical theater. The actress’ talents are also used in the musical environment, which is one of Marta’s trump cards at the moment. “My current work process is also inspired by musical globalization – in the era of “TikTok”, the wide world seems much more accessible. In the process of creating her songs, Marta draws inspiration from other strong women who create their own music and play by their own rules,” the publishers say.
