Marta extends the life of her album by releasing a new version – Music

The singer and actress Marta Grigale’s album “Things Still Happen in My Head” has been released, which is basically a deluxe version of her album released last year with a couple of new tracks and some new arrangements of previously released singles.

In addition to nine songs from the original recording of the album “Things That Happen in My Head” released last autumn, the new edition includes the listeners’ favorite song “Drama” in new sounds (with the participation of musician Tambura Pesto), the acoustic version of the song “Back again”, the previously released single Prom ”(with Patrishai), as well as two new compositions“ Back Forward ”and“ Dance ”. “I wasn’t ready to put an end to this album and move on, but it was time to release new music. Together with the producer DJ Rudd, I created “Things that are still happening in my head” as a thank you to the listeners and also a beautiful ending to the story of “Things”, says Marta. It should be reminded that the original version of “things” in the fierce competition was in the nomination of the Latvian Music Record of the Year Award “Golden Microphone” Top 5 pop music albums, moreover, well deserved – the viewer would even like to give him a “microphone” instead of Don.

“Prom”, which has already been heard on radio stations, does not require comments – it is an excellent song both in the original version and with the sprig of Patrish. Enriching the sound of March’s biggest hit “Drama” with the sounds of such a modern rap seems superfluous, but of course it brings a certain dose of novelty. On the other hand, both new pieces – they do not spoil the overall mood, in the “deluxe” version fit very well, although they should not be called particularly attractive. Although – “Dancing” is quite an excellent summer melody. But in general, as a “beautiful ending to the story of” things “”, I would like to recommend the release of a limited edition album in CD format – it would find hearing ears among collectors (and singer’s acquaintances).

“Both new songs seem very uplifting and seasonal to me. “Back forward” continues the theme of longing and dreaming, but “Dancing” is a song that will cheer you up when nothing seems to work, “says Marta. The single “Back to Forward” in collaboration with artist Emils Traulins and stylist Sintija Selickas has also been filmed with a bright video, while the text video for “Dancing” has been created by Marta herself.
