Mart Meijer will switch from Radio 538 to NPO 3FM after the summer. Together with Sophie Hijlkema, the DJ will present a program on Saturday and Sunday mornings for the AVROTROS. Despite the fact that the news has already been announced in a broadcast of 3FM, the NPO does not want to confirm Mart’s arrival yet.
This summer Mart Meijer has been working at 538 for four years. He started at night and could be heard for a while in the evening, both solo and together with Bas Menting. At the moment he presents a program on Saturday and Sunday between 10:00 and 13:00.
Mart is not the only one making the switch from Radio 538 to 3FM. Barend van Deelen presents from 3 October the afternoon show. Menno de Boer has been the channel manager of 3FM since this spring. He was the program director of 538 until two years ago.
