Marsilio launches the new Abruzzo council, four confirmations

(ANSA) – L’AQUILA, APRIL 10 – The president of the regional council, Marco Marsilio, of FdI, during the first regional council of the 12th legislature characterized by the historic encore of the centre-right, announced the composition of the new regional council on whose launch was difficult due to the fibrillations within the majority which continued until this morning. So much so that the governor announced the assignment of delegations to the regional councilors, confirming an action towards Parliament to expand the number of councilors and underlining that it is difficult to administer due to the insufficient number of places. Of the six new councilors, four have been confirmed and with the same delegations even though D’Annuntiis was undersecretary to the presidency of the council in the previous mandate. The deputy vice president is Emanuele Imprudente, of the League, who takes on the same delegations as the previous legislature, for Agriculture, Hunting, Fishing, Water System and Environment. Here are the other five councillors: the three of the Melonians, the first breakfast party with 24.1% and eight councillors, are Mario Quaglieri, record holder of preferences with almost 12 thousand votes in the elections of 10 March, also confirmed with the delegations to Budget, Personnel, Internal Areas, Sport and Heritage, Tiziana Magnacca, (Production Activities, Tourism and Work), Umberto D’Annuntiis (Public Works, Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility), then for Forza Italia, Roberto Santangelo (social, training, education, research, school, culture and entertainment) and for the President’s list, the external Nicoletta Verì who has the mandate for Health, outgoing former Lega councillor. Marsilio did not assign the post of undersecretary to the presidency of the regional council which, according to what has been learned, would have fallen to Forza Italia, the second party with 14.3% and four councillors, which had made a pact with the League (7, 5% and two elected councilors) to jointly claim one more seat than the two offered. In recent days, Fi had broken the alliance with the League which only this morning decided to enter the Council, renouncing the announced external support. (HANDLE).
