Declares the pianist, creator and artistic director of the musical event Sara Cecala: “We have reached the end of this long tour, which started in May with the evening of Iserniahomeland of our Pietro Angelerio, after having crossed the Celestine lands from Ferentino (place of first burial of Pietro da Morrone) a Sulmonawith the Marsican stage in honor of Silone we can only be satisfied with the fruitful encounters with a varied but always attentive and participatory audience with whom a synergistic relationship of common feeling has been established, the lifeblood for us. The narration of the Celestine events will once again be entrusted to Angelo De Nicola, journalist and writer which, with the contribution of rare and precious images, will intertwine it with the III Canto of Dante’s divine comedy, crossing that long path of rehabilitation of the hermit Pope crowned in L’Aquila, unjustly stained for centuries of cowardice due to the “Great Refusal”, rehabilitation, precisely, which occurred first by Ignazio Silone and only more recently by the Catholic Church. Together with the wonderful artists Antonio Scolletta on the violin, Lorenzo Scolletta on the accordionGiancarlo Giannangeli on the cello, Free Candida D’Aurelio singing and with my contribution on the piano to embellish the show he will go on stage Germanus D’Aurelio (alias ‘Nduccio), a wise showman capable of combining the most playful aspects of human existence with spaces of profound reflection. We want to dedicate this appointment to Father Quirino Salomone, who recently passed away and who lived doing his utmost to welcome the last, in accordance with the Celestine message. I extend an affectionate invitation to everyone and to meet you soon in the beautiful Tagliacozzo; finally, our heartfelt thanks go to the mayor Vincenzo Giovagnorio and to the entire administration, for their generous hospitality.”
This artistic project is also original in its lyrics in musical compositionswritten by herself Sara Cecala and by the teacher Emanuele Castellano.
