The associations Dare feminism, Femmes Solidaires Marseille and the Women’s Assembly were received the day before yesterday by the mayor of Marseille Benoit Payan for a meeting of 1h30. The opportunity to present 66 recommendations “for Marseille to become a feminist city”. The recommendations are grouped into 8 major themes: gender equality within the municipality, the fight against male violence, the fight against economic inequalities, women’s health, the creation of a feminist urban space, the right to matrimonial heritage, sport for all or education to fight against gender stereotypes
“We want to engage in regular work with the mayor of Marseille and continue our work and our discussions with Nathalie Tessier, delegate for women’s rights and the fight against violence against women.
