Did you expect to get this far?

Martina: «I would say that at the beginning we saw what I thought. In my family I am famous for the faces I make and, in fact, once I got to the altar, everything was read to me with a glance. I didn’t think I’d come this far and have a husband. It started out as a shock therapy to overcome a series of things that had followed me all my life ».
Martina, was there a moment when you realized that you could overcome all this?
M: «I realized that towards the end, when we were approaching the final choice. Then, with the six-month break, I made it 100% ».
Experts will be pleased to have finally spotted a couple that resists. Your colleagues didn’t do as well. We start from Santa and Salvo: what went wrong, in your opinion?
M: “They never communicated as they should. Whenever there was something to say to Francesco, I always said it, even without the cameras. They kept everything inside… ».
F: “Maybe he even told me too much. I remember that on our wedding night, while we were in bed, she turned around and said to me: “Aren’t you going to kill me?” He asked me seriously: there I realized that I was near a half crazy. If I killed my wife in front of the cameras, who would I record with the next day? ‘
M: “Maybe I’m the other extreme, but if Santa had something to say to Salvo, she just had to say it. The same goes for him too ».
What is your idea of Clara and Fabio? Their choice was quite unexpected.
M: “She had to be truer from start to finish. So he made it worse, and he was really hurt ».
F: «They criticized Fabio a lot for the trip to Formentera but, if we compare him to what Clara said, it immediately takes a back seat. One that tells the final choice that he was “too true” leaves you perplexed: the more true you are, the more you reach those close to you and the audience at home. You don’t have a year to make yourself known, but a month: if you make things go well, it means that you carry on the program and not the couple. Instead of smiling all the time, perhaps it was better to have an extra fight ».
In your case, for example, the quarrel at the time of the reunion with the other couples was decisive in bringing you closer.
F: «Martina had reached a point of no return, she was stressed by the whole situation, from work, from the trip. At that moment he put it all together and I wanted to understand if the things he said were to hurt me or because he was thinking about them. I said to myself: either he apologizes to me or I won’t go back… ».
M: “But I said right away that I wouldn’t let him escape. Apart from everything, I was wrong. I wanted to hurt him, but it was also the trigger for everything ».
F: “That night, for the first time, we didn’t even say a word. Luckily breakfast the next day allowed us to talk: if we had immediately taken the car back to Rome, I don’t know how it would have gone ».
Real life, the one without the cameras, how did it start?
F: “It was a bit traumatic at first. For a month we were followed by the production and, in particular, by Andrea and Luca who have always been by our side: not being able to pick up the phone to hear them every time a problem arose at the beginning was strange. Then, slowly, I calmed down ».
You always live in the same apartment, right?
M: “Yes, in the first house you see in the program. We do not say exactly where, because otherwise Francesco finds himself here underneath all those hens who write to him … ».
I mean, do many girls write to Francesco?
M: “They are a lot. They write to him on Whatsapp, like “I’m your friend of the sea from 7 years ago…” ».
F: “I can’t deny it, but I always answer in front of Martina.”
M: “I’m always back there like an owl I check.”
And nobody writes to Martina?
M: “No. Just kindergarten and middle school people who say they saw me on TV. This is why it is difficult for Francesco to understand how I feel, not being in my shoes… ».

F: “Sure, but not just them.”
M: «Also our guardian angels Luca and Andrea, whom we continue to thank every day, and then, of course, friends and relatives».
New clothes for the wedding or the same ones for the first ceremony?
