In the sights are the contracts for the cemetery, street cleaning, sanitization during the Covid period and the management of the investee company “Pagani Ambiente”. This emerges from the investigation by the Anti-Mafia Prosecutor’s Office of Salerno, which brings to light the shadow of Camorra infiltration in the offices of the Municipality of Pagani. According to the magistrates, Alfonso Marrazzo was the “clean” face of the Fezza-De Vivo clan. First he tries to channel the gang’s votes onto the center-right candidates in the last local elections, then he tries to insert himself into the political and managerial top management of the Palazzo San Carlo institution. Among the leaders stand out the mayor Lello De Prisco and the councilor for Commerce, Pietro Sessa, for whom the prosecutor Elena Guarino, in charge of the investigation, had requested prison, although the investigating judge had denied it. In between, there are hiring of relatives, favors, and friendships that would overwhelm the rules to be respected.
The role of Marrazzo. «A sprawling ability to penetrate the activity of public administration to subjugate it to its own affairs».
