The curtain was raised the day before yesterday on the 20th edition of the Marrakesh International Film Festival, which will continue until December 2nd.
The opening ceremony was organized at the Palais des Congrès in central Marrakesh, and members of the jury include: Oscar-winning American actress, Jessica Chastain, Iranian actress Zahraa Amir, French actress Camille Cottan, Australian actor and director, Joel Edgerton, British director, Joanna Hook, and Swedish director. The Egyptian origin, Tariq Saleh, and the French-Moroccan writer, Laila Sulaimani. The festival’s official competition includes 14 films. It is expected that 75 films from 36 countries will be shown in this session.
