Marrakech: Communication meeting on the national strategy for continuing education in the field of education

Marrakech – A communication meeting around the national continuing training strategy was held recently at the headquarters of the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) of Marrakech-Safi.

Co-chaired by the director of AREF, My Ahmed Karimi and the deputy director responsible for the training of pedagogical executives at the supervisory ministry, Noureddine El Mazouni, in the presence of the director of the Regional Center for Education and Training of Marrakech-Safi and of the provincial directors reporting to the Academy, this meeting is part of the measures and procedures aimed at the implementation of the continuing training strategy in the national education sector, particularly in this regard. which concerns the strengthening of the involvement of all stakeholders, actors and partners at the regional level in the accomplishment of the missions assigned to them.

This meeting, the first of its kind at the national level, takes place within the framework of a series of training and communication meetings that the Central Managerial Training Unit plans to organize in order to facilitate the intervention of the various actors in the field. field to ensure the success of regional continuing training plans.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Karimi underlined the importance of this meeting which is in line with the orientations of framework law 51.17, in particular in terms of capacity building of actors and improvement of the quality of educational operation.

For his part, Mr. El Mazouni dwelled on the role of continuing education and its repercussions on skills development and professional promotion, explaining that the choice made on the AREF of Marrakech-Safi to host the first stage of these communication meetings around the national continuing education strategy can be explained by the experiences accumulated by this region.

This meeting was also punctuated by a presentation by the director of the Academy in which he notably addressed the regional continuing education plan, the components of which are in line with the objectives set by the action program. of the AREF, framed by the portfolio of 18 projects set out in the framework law 51.17.

It was also an opportunity to learn more about this national continuing education strategy.

This meeting was also marked by relevant interventions able to contribute to enriching this national strategy, thus translating the involvement and general mobilization for its implementation at the regional level, through the development of a development plan. ‘clear action, defining all the stages and phases necessary for the success of the regional continuing training plan.
