Marquez’s First Words After Predicted Absence of 3 Months

Honda racer Mark Marquez still trying his best to be able to recover from the injury he was facing after MotoGP Mandalika 2022.

He had a serious accident while undergoing a warm-up session before the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP race. After being diagnosed with a concussion during an examination at the Mataram Hospital, NTB, he was confirmed to have diplopia or double vision impairment.

“Today I don’t want to smile, but we will find a way to do it again. Stay strong!” wrote Marquez on his Instagram account on Thursday (24/3).

Marquez’s diplopia injury made him predicted to be out for three months. This is expected to make him absent for eight MotoGP racing series in 2022.

Marquez’s diplopia occurred as a result of an accident while riding a motocross. As a result, he was forced to miss the two 2021 MotoGP closing series, namely the Algarve MotoGP and the Valencia MotoGP.
