Former top racer MotoGP Jorge Lorenzo predict Marc Marquez it won’t be as aggressive as it used to be when it comes back later. Even so, Marquez is believed to be great.
The Repsol Honda rider has recovered from a broken right arm he suffered last season. Marquez then underwent independent training on the RC213V motorbike in Montmelo and Portimao, although he still had to miss the first two series of MotoGP 2021 in Qatar and Doha.
So far, it is not certain when the eight-time world champion will return to the track. Marquez previously only said that he would only race again if his condition was 100 percent. Meanwhile, the third series will be held in Portimao, Portugal on April 16-18.
Lorenzo considered Marquez’s decision to miss the two races at Losail was right. According to the five-time world champion, if Marquez returns later, he will be a racer who will focus on scoring.
“He didn’t race at Losail as a deterrent and also because it doesn’t make sense,” Lorenzo told Car picture. “I thought when he made a comeback, we would see Marc Marquez another. I don’t think we will see a racer who is willing to take so many risks without the fear of getting injured. “
“But that doesn’t mean he will be a worse rider. I think we will see a Marquez, who is more aware of risks, more organized and more focused on scoring points for the championship.”
