Marquez knows he wants to be beaten by Martin in the Thailand MotoGP sprint race

Marc Marquez experience dangerous conditions at the start of a sprint race MotoGP Thailand 2024 minute Jorge Martin almost hit him.

Marquez was almost hit by Martin shortly after the start, right at the first corner of the Buriram Circuit. After being in the leading position, Martin then went wide.

When he wanted to return to the middle lane, Martin almost hit Marquez who was in front of him.

“I saw the picture and it was lucky because I expected that move. It went out of the way and luckily I didn’t hit the barrier and I expected it to come back,” said Marquez as mentioned by fall.

Marquez, who was in front of Martin, could not hold his position. Martin overtook the former MotoGP world champion who then finished second.

Marquez, who started in fifth position, then finished fourth in the 2024 Thailand MotoGP sprint race.

Even though he still has a chance to become world champion this year, Marquez is not trying to take full advantage of it. Since the beginning of this season, Marquez has not been committed to looking at opportunities in the best way.

It looks like Marquez is using his first season riding a Ducati Desmosedici motorcycle to get used to his new ride after riding a Honda RC213V motorcycle for several years.

Marquez is now third in the 2024 MotoGP standings with 351 points or 82 points behind leader Martin.
