Marquez again suffers from diplopia after crash at the Mandalika MotoGP

Mark Marquez back experiencing double vision problems aka diplopia after an accident at MotoGP Mandalika 2022.

Marquez canceled his appearance at the Mandalika MotoGP due to an accident in the warm-up session, Sunday (20/3). Marquez is said to have suffered a concussion but he did not experience serious problems after the accident.

Marquez then immediately returned to Barcelona to undergo further observation.

“I think I have deja vu. On my way back to Spain, I started to feel discomfort in my vision.”

“We then decided to visit Dr. Sanchez Dalmau who later confirmed that I had a new problem with Diplopia,” Marquez said on his Twitter account.

Marquez had experienced diplopia due to an accident during practice at the end of the 2022 MotoGP season. That problem also made Marquez absent in the last two series.

However, before the 2022 MotoGP race begins, Marquez has been declared recovered and is ready to fight for the 2022 MotoGP.

“Luckily, the current condition is not at the level of the injury I had at the end of last year. Now is the time to rest and wait for the condition of the injury.”

“As always I say, thank you to everyone for the support,” said Marquez.

In addition to an accident in the Mandalika MotoGP warm-up session, Marquez also fell several times during the Mandalika MotoGP free practice session.

The next 2022 MotoGP race is the Argentine MotoGP which will take place on April 3.
