Marouane Fellaini Invests in Royal Francs Borains: New Investor and General Manager Announced

Second division team Royal Francs Borains has had an eventful afternoon. The Hainaut club has both a new investor and a new general manager. Ex-Red Devil Marouane Fellaini will lend money to his youth team, RTBF journalist Pascal Scimè will set the lines.

Between 2000 and 2003, Marouane Fellaini defended the green-white club colors of Royal Francs Borains. The Hainaut club of chairman Georges-Louis Bouchez (MR) has convinced the former Red Devil to provide a financial boost to the Challenger Pro League.

It is not the first time that Fellaini has been generous to an ex-club. In 2020, he lent Standard 3 million euros at a favorable interest rate.

With the money from the tall midfielder, the new general director Pascal Scimè, known as a journalist at the RTBF, can make his team competitive at the second level in Belgium.
