Yesterday afternoon Sandy Alcántara, had a great performance for the Marlins, pitching 8.0 innings, with 6 hits and 1 run allowed, with 2 walks and 6 strikeouts.

The Boston Red Sox, are still in the middle of a very productive season, far exceeding what they did last year. Since, they are in second place in a tight American League East Division that has teams like the Tampa Bay Rays, Toronto Blue Jays Y New York Yankees. In addition, they have ranked among the best in offense with an average of 5.11 runs scored per game, and while their pitching has not been excellent, they have done the right job.
The Red Sox, comes from winning a series against their eternal rivals, the New York Yankees, where they received very good starts from their starters, and their offense knew how to take advantage of the opportunities it had to be effective. Rafael Devers, remains key for the team, registering 48 RBIs and 15 home runs, followed by a J.D. Martínez, which has an AVR. of .321, 12 homers and 39 RBIs.
The Red Sox, they have to improve a little the performance they have had at home, with a record of 16 wins and 13 losses in the Fenway Park.

Pablo Lopez: The 25-year-old Venezuelan has had a great year with the Marlins, as, although they hold a 1-3 record, he has left an ERA. of 2.82 in 12 starts (67.0 innings pitched).

FORECAST
The Boston Red Sox have one of the best offenses in the league, however, they are not immune to problems, so I think that today they will not have it easy at all when facing a López who has done a really good job since mound. For their part, the Marlins have been terrible in attack, having a difficult time producing even against the Pirates, so I think Pivetta could have another good day with their fragile lineup.
So while I hope to see the Red Sox constantly pushing, I am confident that Lopez will keep them limited to some extent, thereby generating a score with less than 9 runs total.
