Haltern / Munster – The wreck is completely dented, the stern pressed flat and all the windows shattered. A young man lost his life in the back seat of the white Hyundai.
The three of them were traveling between Haltern and Marl (Recklinghausen district) at night. It was just after three o’clock, the trio would probably have been home in a few minutes. Everyone lives in Oer-Erkenschwick, a few kilometers away.
On the free route between the villages, their way home ended in disaster. The driver lost control of the white Hyundai I30, came off the road to the left. A police spokesman: “The car first touched several trees, then collided head-on with another tree. The occupant in the back seat was fatally injured. “
The cause is excessive speed after initial investigations.
A pedestrian died in Münster only half an hour (33). The man on the left lane had danced on a bypass towards the motorway. A driver was able to avoid at the last moment. A subsequent car (driver 25) failed. He caught the man who died at the scene of the accident.
In both accidents, roads had to be closed until morning.
