On Saturday afternoon, a traffic accident occurred in Marktheidenfeld (district Main-Spessart) on the Outer Ring – with far-reaching consequences for the person who caused it. The 40-year-old driver of a VW van noticed a backlog too late and was unable to brake in time. As a result, he drove into a 23-year-old road user in an Opel Corsa. The property damage was only 3500 euros, but the person who caused the accident could not produce a driver’s license: As it turned out, his license had been revoked by a court. He is now facing a charge of driving without a license.
