From Monday, the Main-Spessart-Halle in Marktheidenfeld can be used again as a school and sports hall. The hall was last used as a first port of call for refugees from Ukraine. Currently, however, fewer and fewer people are coming to Germany and thus also to the region. Therefore, more and more emergency shelters can be closed again.
At the beginning of July, the Spessarttorhalle in Lohr was converted back into a sports hall. The city of Würzburg had recently closed emergency shelters.
