Opinions on Verstappen’s punishment divided
Race management quickly made the decision not to penalize Verstappen for the incident during the Brazilian GP. A possible penalty could have meant that the Dutchman dropped back to third place, as Valtteri Bottas crossed the finish line less than five seconds after the Dutchman.
