Around four million people live in the metropolitan region of Hanover Braunschweig Göttingen Wolfsburg. The economic strength, the excellent scientific landscape and the location on major European transport axes make the region around the cities of Hanover, Braunschweig, Göttingen and Wolfsburg a metropolitan region of European importance.
The metropolitan region has established itself as a developer, carrier and partner of innovative projects at the regional, national and international level. Mobility, health and location marketing are our central fields of action. The focus is on networking and on the presentation of our metropolitan region as a successful, shared living and economic area.
