Marketing Internship Position in Power Generation Systems Portfolio

This is an internship position to assist the marketing team in managing offer launches and evolutions using the national offer introduction process and developing a technology roadmap specific to the assigned products in the power generation systems portfolio. The position will require intelligent analysis of marketing data and understanding of different offers in order to provide meaningful insights from available data.

Duration : 8-12 months

What will you do ?

The Supply Marketing Specialist will support the following marketing activities:

  • Monitor market, customer and competitor data and provide customer requirements for product offerings.
  • Liaise between Product Management and Front Office (e.g. Industry Marketing, Sales & Sales Operations, Marketplace, Marketing Communications, Channel, Pricing, etc.)
  • Cooperate with the marketing communication department to create the calendar of marketing communication events (demand creation).
  • Generate demand through the successful execution of the marketing communication plan.
  • Meet or exceed product sales targets and associated financial KPIs for the Power Systems project scope of supply.
  • Gather information on product, service and solution gaps from the sales department and the market itself.
  • Maintain a detailed competitive analysis of the positioning of competitors’ product or solution offerings nationally, and escalate to other parts of the organization e.g. Product Management, Sales, Industry Marketing. Receives competitive information from other departments in the organization, such as Sector Marketing and Channel Marketing.
  • Improve marketing effectiveness by focusing on continuous process improvement.

What are the qualifications that will enable you to succeed?

  • Young graduate: Electrical engineering degree or commercial training.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Good knowledge of the electrical distribution sector
  • Good communication, listening, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Autonomy, entrepreneurship and team spirit.
