Marketing Business Associate, Enterprise

This marketing director is the primary POC between the Enterprise sales team and the Marketing team. You will be a strategic partner to the business translating business objectives into marketing plans based on the deep understanding of the customer segments they represent. This marketing leader will have a strong ability to collaborate, connect and influence to represent the marketing department’s results and outcomes to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary POC between the Enterprise sales team and the Marketing team
  • Act as a strategic partner, providing client-centered consulting and leading planning to develop an annual marketing plan and quarterly campaigns that are aligned with the overall specific objectives of MMS + segment
  • Have a deep understanding of target customers including characteristics, pain points, behaviors, decision drivers, and purchase journey – develop and own a category-level Brand Book
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and understand competitive positioning
  • Monitor business performance and develop action plans to address strategy opportunities/trends
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Sales and PSSP to drive the business
  • Improve the effectiveness and ROI of marketing investments through optimization in partnership with the marketing team
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate our value proposition including new products, value-added services, and other aspects of the MMS customer experience.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, communications, product management, and/or brand management. Fewer years required if you have relevant Masters or Doctorate qualifications.

  • Ability to communicate and influence people across the organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to use numbers, data, and visual content to tell a story, influence decision makers, and clearly explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences listen
  • Experience working with senior executives and sales teams
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills used effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles and uses market research insights to translate market trends and customer needs into actionable resources and tactics.
  • Creativity, innovation, high standards, and attention to detail
  • Strong self-starter mentality, with the ability to proactively generate ideas and lead efforts
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing and communications strategies that have effectively engaged stakeholders and driven value proposition
  • Knowledge of government or health systems
  • Experience working with Large Accounts and ABM

Education

  • 4-year degree in business, leadership, or related field preferred

The pay range shown below is in accordance with McKesson’s pay philosophy, and pay will always be in accordance with any applicable regulations. Our Basic Pay Range for this position

$98,900 – $164,800
