Market vendors angry: ‘We are not seen, therefore in column to The Hague’

In The Hague, interim injunction proceedings from the Central Ambulatory Trade Association (CVAH) will be brought against the State tomorrow. The CVAH also wants the non-food stalls to be allowed again.

“We already demonstrated last year that markets can be opened safely and responsibly using the CVAH protocols. We are ready,” says Louise Wesselius, chairman of the association.

The CVAH finds it nonsensical that only stalls with fish, meat, cheese and bread are allowed. “The risk of contamination in the open air is much more limited than indoors. Research has shown that, right?”

Due to the lockdown rules, at least 5000 entrepreneurs are forced to stay at home, according to the CVAH.
