Crossing Strings – a guitar duo that at first glance couldn’t be more different. A duo in which two seemingly completely different worlds collide. The classical guitarist Carina Maria Linder and the fingerstyle guitarist Markus Schlesinger inspire with a program that combines both areas of expertise.
The audience can expect a varied mix of self-arranged classical, jazzy and pop evergreens, of buried and unearthed musical treasures and two voices that round this off with impulsive intensity and playful lightness. By bridging the gap between two seemingly contradictory worlds, this duo indulges in a multifaceted symbiosis of classical, jazz and popular music to take the audience into completely new and unknown musical spheres.
