Market prices of vegetables, oil and yogurt are shooting up – 2024-11-17 09:22:00

They keep going up the prices wholesale vegetables this week too. Once again, a price increase was registered for greenhouse cucumbers in the period 11-15 November, this time by 24 cents to BGN 2.95/kg, the growth is 9 percent.

The price of tomatoes also increases with the same pennies, with a 7.5% jump. The last auction price from Friday is BGN 3.40. This means that it is now difficult to buy tomatoes at retail for less than BGN 4.50-5 per kilogram. Carrots and onions are up by 8.7 and 8.5% at average wholesale prices of BGN 1.23 and 1.07/kg. Cabbage sought for imposition in cans shot up by 7.7% to BGN 1.18/kg.

At none of the monitored by the State Commodity Exchange Commission and markets (DXBT) vegetables no depreciation reported.

Among the fruits, the dessert grape has the highest increase – 11.8% and its average price reaches BGN 2.92. The largest reduction was in mandarin, whose wholesale price fell by 31 cents to BGN 2.82. After a drop of about 5%, oranges have a market price of BGN 2.40/kg.

In packaged foods, sunflower oil increases by 5.8% and the wholesale price per liter is BGN 3.12.

Yogurt in a bucket of 400 g and with a fat content of 3 and over 3% increased in price by 4.1% (5 cents) and at the end of the week it has a wholesale price of BGN 1.31.
