Market: Microsoft interested in Warner Bros. video games division

(Reuters) – US computer giant Microsoft has shown interest in acquiring the video game division of Warner Bros, which publishes the Batman and Harry Potter franchises, the specialist news site The Monday reported Information citing two sources close to the file.

Such an operation would allow Microsoft, which operates the XBox game console, to further develop in this sector.

But Warner’s parent company AT&T has yet to sell its video game business, The Information adds.

Microsoft and AT&T were not immediately available to comment.
