“Market Links”: Sword and “Majesty” remain outside parliament for now

Seven parties will enter the new National Assembly, according to national survey data, funded and implemented by BTV and the sociological group “Market Links” in the period 15-20 October.

GERB is the first political force with 24%, followed by PP-DB with 14.1% support and “Vazrazhdane” with 13.1%. The first place in the vote seems to be predetermined for the party of Boyko Borisov, but the second position is disputed.

The fourth political force is the Ahmed Dogan Alliance for Rights and Freedom with 8.3% support, closely followed by Delyan Peevski’s DPS – New Beginning with 7.2% support.

The coalition “BSP – United Left” seems to be stable with 7%, and Slavi Trifonov’s party “There are such people” gathers 4.6% support.

The Velichie Party is close to the 4 percent barrier and currently has 3.6 percent support. Below the line remains “Blue Bulgaria” with 2.8%, as well as MECH with 1.6%.

2.1% of people intend to vote with “I do not support anyone”, and the option to say “I have not decided” is with 9.7%.

“The second place is not decided despite this percentage difference between PP-DB and “Vazrazhdane”. At the last moment, “Vazrazhdane” managed to capture some voters who was not particularly sure about voting and for whom. Looking for a protest vote, they are focused precisely on “Revival,” said the sociologist Dobromir Zhivkov.

“Alliance for Rights and Freedoms” and “DPS – A New Beginning” have very close results, and the gap between them is decreasing. This trend may continue in the coming days,” he said.

“The expectations for a high share of the bought vote should not be underestimated. The overall picture does not look particularly good. What we are hearing in places is that entire villages are saying that they will vote completely. This indicates that there will be an incentive. and moving there , may not be based on classical methods of political work in the field”, said Dobromir Zhivkov.

A total of 37% have indicated that they will vote in the upcoming elections on 27 October. The sociologist pointed out that the stated willingness to vote in a survey is usually lower than the actual one, and this is a common phenomenon. Therefore, it can be expected that the number of voters will be similar to the number in June.

“There is a reserve to go into the elections with a more normal turnout,” he said.

Currently, the National Assembly has only 6% of citizens’ trust. “This is the lowest level of trust in the Bulgarian parliament,” said Dobromir Zhivkov.

Distrust in the office “Glavchev” is 52%, and trust – 17%.

“The final round of the parliament and the last meetings have a direct impact on this, because unpleasant scenes were seen. It was seen that political forces cannot unite about the reasons,” said the society – an expert.

According to 19% of the survey participants, the caretaker government should continue to govern. 66% agree with this opinion, and 15% remain neutral.

“Bulgarian society does not only want executive power, but political responsibility for the future of the country, because this time is not working well and we cannot organize ourselves as a country for move forward. This can have a positive effect on the Bulgarian movement. citizens in the upcoming vote”, said Zhivkov.

The data is from a national survey, funded and implemented by bTV and “Market LINKS”, which was conducted among 1014 people over 18 years of age in the country in the period 15-20 October using interview methods direct personal and online study.
