KfW has launched various funding programs for the refurbishment of your own residential building into an efficiency house, but also subsidizes individual measures for energy-efficient refurbishment in your own home. The prerequisites are different, depending on the property situation, the redevelopment goal and the type of redevelopment measure, says Schfer. Minimum values
Of course, some formal requirements must also be observed so that the applicant does not lose his eligibility for funding. The technical prerequisite for eligibility are minimum values for the thermal transmittance (Uw value). Another alternative to save money on renovation is a tax bonus, which came into effect on January 1, 2020.
