Markaziya – Al-Makari and Al-Asmar discuss the situation of Lebanese TV employees

Central – The information minister of the interim government, Ziyad Al-Makari, received in his ministry office the head of the General Labor Union, Bishara Al-Asmar, who heads a union delegation.

Al-Asmar said after the meeting: “Today’s visit to the Minister of Information is a visit of greeting and thanksgiving for his efforts for justice for TV Liban employees. These efforts have been going on for several months and the union accompanies them through continuous meetings with the Union of Television Workers and Minister Makari”.

He added: “We hope, in cooperation with the Minister of Finance and the curators of TV Liban, that things go in the right direction, so that the employees get all their rights, both in terms of living costs, and government-approved aid, which includes everyone receiving public money.”

Al-Asmar continued: “We also touched on the situation of Radio Lebanon, and we reassure employees, contractors and workers that Minister Makari spares no effort to give them their rights, and we hope, in cooperation with all ministers and people of honor as the Minister of Information, that next year we achieve a fair and just result as regards workers and employees.” Lebanon TV.
