“I tore my ACL and just got back from surgery to have it replaced. I am grateful to the doctors and the medical team that took care of me,” wrote Zuckerberg on the social network he owns as part of Meta.
Due to the injury, he now had to postpone the long-awaited premiere competitive match in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts – note by editor), which, according to Zuckerberg, was supposed to take place at the beginning of next year.
“I’m still looking forward to it when I get better. Thank you all for the love and support,” he added in the post.
Zuckerberg drew attention to himself in connection with MMA several times this year, when he shared photos or videos of jiu-jitsu matches in which he participated, or from training sessions with MMA legends Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski, the server pointed out Business Insider.
There has also been speculation for some time that Zuckerberg would have a cage match against another billionaire and currently the world’s richest man, Elon Musk. But that seems unlikely at the moment. Apart from the verbal exchanges between the two actors via the media or social networks, there was no agreement on the date or place of the event despite the speculation.
