HAI-ONLINE.COM – In uploading video reels on his Instagram, CEO MetaMark Zuckerberg shows off four prototypes of the device Virtual Reality. And fourth VR this is indeed designed to explore the virtual world in metaverse so it feels like in the real world.

For the uninitiated, Metaverse is a concept that allows everyone to interact, work, play games and do many other things through a virtual world and everyone will have a unique 3D avatar.

Since Facebook Inc. renamed Meta Platforms Inc., Mark Zuckerberg has made the metaverse one of the company’s top priorities.

Therefore, the metaverse began to develop hardware such as Virtual Reality or VR.

“Today I want to show you four VR prototypes that we are working on to create a realistic view that looks like the real world,” Mark said in his Instagram post.

He says in the video that they are currently developing a VR device that passes a test to see if computers can think like humans. In this test, Meta’s VR device must be able to convince the human brain that what is seen through VR is real.

In order to reach that point, the first challenge that VR has to solve is the retina resolution which must reach 60 pixels per degree like the human eye.

Then the second challenge is to make VR able to focus on seeing things near and far like the human eye, then distort the video in a way so fast that it is invisible to the human eye.
Although it took a little longer to bring all the technology together into one compact VR device, Mark Zeuckerberg said he was very excited.

“There’s still a lot to do, but I’m really excited to bring all of this technology to our products in the future.”
