Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna and Bill Gates are among the guests at a pre-wedding bash hosted by Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani for his son.
Anant Ambani, 28, will marry Radhika Merchant in July.
Bollywood stars are also participating in the three-day event in Jamnagar city.
66-year-old Mukesh Ambani is currently the 10th richest person in the world. According to “Forbes” data, he owns 115 billion US dollars.
Reliance Industrija, founded by his father in 1966, is a huge conglomerate that operates in industries ranging from manufacturing and retail to financial services and telecommunications.
Anant Ambani is the youngest of three children, all of whom are on the board of Reliance Industries. The 28-year-old young man is involved in the energy business of the concern and is a member of the board of Reliance Fund.
The extravagant pre-wedding event is in line with the Ambani family’s ambitions to host lavish weddings and parties.
In 2018, pop sensation Beyoncé performed at the pre-wedding bash of Mr. Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani, held in the city of Udaipur. Former US Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry were among the guests of the event.
The information published by “Bloomberg” at that time indicated that the cost of Isha’s wedding was set at 100 million dollars. This information, however, was denied by a person close to the family, who said that the bill was about 15 million US dollars.
The current celebrations began earlier this week with an event where the Ambani family served food to locals in Jamnagar.
About 1,200 guests are attending the pre-wedding party, which is being held in Jamnagar village near Reliance’s main oil refinery.

The guest list appears to include more representatives from the world’s global flagships than the weddings of Mr Ambani’s two eldest children in 2018 and 2019.
“This underscores Reliance’s growing influence and role as a driver of the Indian economy in technology, media and energy,” Bloomberg said.
Among the entertainment on offer are performances by Rihanna and illusionist David Blaine.
Guests are also expected to visit a rescue center in Jamnagar, which is said to be home to more than 2,000 animals. According to the planning document seen, the clothing theme for this visit is “Jungle Fever”.
