For his new film, Mark takes on the role of Father Stuart Long, a boxer who became a priest after several injuries and a motorcycle accident. For that, the actor had to gain a few kilos. A month ago, Mark told Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show that he was looking forward to eating 20 chicken nuggets and chicken legs every day, along with six cans of beer. It sounds like a nice way to gain weight, but in the end the actor did not gain his extra pounds that way. In his Instagram post, showing how much his toned body has changed, the actor thanks Chef Lawrence Duncan. The chef made sure that Mark was fed high-calorie yet healthy food, instead of the chicken nuggets the movie star had in mind. Because the actor avoids fast food, he will lose weight faster and return to his former weight.

The world star plans to gain about nine kilos to get completely in the shoes of his character. In the film, Mark plays a boxer who trades his career for the monastery. Earlier, the celeb also gained a lot of weight for the film ‘Pain & Gain’, and then worked back to his target weight.
