Yesterday RTL confirmed that Van Nieuwkerk has signed a 4-year contract with the channel. The presenter will make programs for RTL, but also for its streaming service Videoland.
From April 21, he can be seen every Sunday evening with a current affairs program in which music also plays a major role. Rutte does not think anything of Van Nieuwkerk returning to RTL, and not to the public broadcaster. “About that step itself, that’s all up to the broadcasters,” he said.
