His life was hanging by a thread in April. “I almost wasn’t there anymore,” says Mark Minnesma. A bacterium settled in part of his lungs and made a fit guy deathly ill within 24 hours. 21-year-old Dronrypster spent four weeks in intensive care, three weeks of which was in a coma. His fit body ultimately kept the avid handball player alive. “I am grateful for the second chance.”
