Former Liverpool star Mark Lawrenson has predicted the positions Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool will end up on the Premier League table this season.
Man City won the Premier League title last season ahead of Man United, who finished second, Liverpool (third) and Chelsea (fourth).
However, Lawrenson believes Man City will finish atop the Premier League table again this season ahead of Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea.
He gave his prediction on Thursday ahead of the 2021/2022 Premier League campaign, which begins on Friday night with Arsenal against Brentford.
When asked to give his prediction for the Premier League top four this season, Lawrenson simply told BBC Sport, “Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United”.
Meanwhile, Man City will kick off their new Premier League campaign against Tottenham this weekend, while Chelsea face Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool affrontera Norwich City et Man United affrontera Leeds United.
