In January 2019, Marius (33) and his girlfriend moved into a block of flats in central Oslo.
The bathroom in the apartment was last rehabilitated in 1995. The couple therefore found out that it was time for a renovation.
They contacted a contractor who started the bathroom. This week, Monday 21 February, the carpenter opened the hatch in the roof where the main stopcock was located.
– What in the world
In addition to the stopcock, he found something completely different that usually does not belong in a bathroom ceiling.

– Suddenly he came out of the bathroom with something black and oblong wrapped in plastic, and wondered if this was something we wanted to keep, Marius says to Dagbladet. The man does not want his last name in print.

“What in the world are you finding?” I asked. To which the carpenter replied, “A dildo. It was in your roof. “
Marius took a picture of the toy and sent it to his cohabitant with the text “Found the dildo of the times on the ceiling”.
– She was laughing to death, says Marius about the answer that came back.
Ended up in a coma of toxic wine
– Hygienic and discreet
He explains that the anal dildo was wrapped in a transparent plastic bag. It is therefore not reasonable to believe that it was placed there as a joke.
– It seems as if it has been calmly, hygienically and discreetly hidden there. As the hatch for the stopcock came during the previous rehabilitation, it must have been placed there after 1995.

– What do you think about the discovery?
– It makes me think that it has not been cleared away in a hurry before a screening. I get the vibes that it might be a previous owner who has not quite dared to come out of the closet. Or someone who is a little open to things, says Marius.

The 33-year-old says that the astonished carpenter had never found anything similar in his career.
– He said that the “most common” findings are money and old newspapers that can have a funny value. But this was his first encounter with a black anal dildo on the ceiling.

She tells Dagbladet that similar sex toys are growing among Norwegians.
– What characterizes anal toys, whether it vibrates or not, is that they have a stopper at the bottom. This means that it does not disappear into the rectum should there be a vacuum.
– We sell absolutely a lot of anal toys, and Norwegians are exploring this part of sexuality more and more. This part of the body is filled with nerve endings and men also have the prostate which gives a lot of pleasure.
