MARÍTIMO AND ADIFFEM SEEK TO BE THE NEW MONARCHS OF THE FUTVE WOMEN’S LEAGUE

FVF / Maturín Communications Department. The FUTVE Women’s League is ready to close its 2024 edition, so Marítimo and Adiffem will meet in the grand final, which will be played this Saturday, September 14, at the Monumental de Monagas stadium.

Both the green and gold teams, as well as the blue and pink teams, arrive at the final of the tournament with the hope of lifting their first trophy that will accredit them as champions of the local women’s competition.

For the team from the coast, it is their debut in the FUTVE Women’s League, while Adiffem, in their second final in a row, will try to keep their goal alive this time.

How they arrived

Marítimo finished second in Group A, finishing with a record of six wins, one draw and three losses, while the capital team advanced as third with a record of six wins and four losses.

In the quarter-finals, Las del Litoral left the way open to Carabobo FC and Adiffem dismissed Estudiantes de Mérida. Regarding the semi-finals, Marítimo eliminated the current champion of the competition, Caracas FC, while the blue and pink eliminated, for the second time in a row, Deportivo Táchira.
