Yesterday evening, Friday, the first episode of the series “Ashra Omar” began to be shown on the “Al-Jadeed” channel, which adopts the same method every year before the month of Ramadan, as it begins showing its dramas days before the holy month.
In its infancy, the series talks about the death of Marita El-Hillani’s parents, in a terrible run-over accident, while they were attending her aunt’s engagement party.
Before the death of Marita’s mother, she tells her sister – that is, Marietta’s aunt – (actress Nicole Tohme) that the latter is not her real daughter, but rather she was brought to their house to take care of her after she was separated from her mother.
Marietta’s mother revealed, as she breathed her last, that there was a box in the house that contained a file that collected all the details, as well as an amount of money.
Before her death, the mother asked her sister to go in search of Marietta’s rich parents and tell them that Marietta, their real daughter, was alive. But it is clear that the encouragement of the sister – that is, Aunt Marietta – will be stronger than her promise to her sister, so she begins planning to weave things to live in luxury at the expense of her sister’s daughter, so she decides not to reveal the truth.
The beginning of the series is beautiful, attractive and successful, and we are awaiting the events and developments that will carry the episodes. The work is produced by the production company, Marwa Group, and co-starring Marita El-Hellani and Joe Sader, with a number of actors.
