Mariska Bauer secretly participated in The Masked Singer

2.3 million viewers saw on Friday night in the waste round of the singing program The Masked Singer how Mariska Bauer turned out to be one of the participants. Both the judges and viewers at home were taken aback when they saw that Frans Bauer’s 44-year-old wife was behind the mouse costume. At home in Fijnaart, Mariska’s own family also had no idea what happened to them when they saw that she had participated.

Mariska posted a video on her Instagram page that shows how she watches the program with her family. Everyone is sitting on the couch unsuspecting and full of tension, when it was suddenly revealed that their own mother and wife were hidden in the mouse suit. “When did you do that mom?” One of her sons exclaims in amazement.

In the RTL program The Masked Singer, fifteen completely disguised celebrities participate in a singing competition. In the most beautiful suits and costumes, the celebrities take turns in front of a four-member jury. During the program, the judges and viewers at home get to see all kinds of hints that may reveal who is hidden behind the mask.

On Friday evening, the public voted ‘the mouse’ out of the competition and whoever is voted out must reveal their identity. Several names had already passed in review: Natasja Froger, Patricia Paay and even cyclist Marianne Vos. Nobody had thought of Mariska Bauer.
