Mariquina: San Francisco sector will have new squares and a covered multi-pitch

–Under the framework of the I Want My Neighborhood program, the sector has already decided on the improvements it will have, focused on three squares and a covered sports area.
The Quiero mi Barrio program focuses on the improvement of different sectors or neighborhoods, but always taking into account the opinion of the neighbors. It is for this reason that the inhabitants of the San Francisco-Media Luna neighborhood have already chosen what you want for their sector.
This after the proposals presented and chosen by the neighbors themselves, and after having the approval of the investment that will allow during this 2021, to carry out the prioritized projects and designed together with them, this under the framework of the intervention of the Program Neighborhood Recovery “I want my neighborhood”.
Regarding this, Mayor Rolando Miter commented on the importance that this is chosen by the neighbors of the sector: “One of the main themes of the I Want My Neighborhood Program is to improve the neighborhood with the participation of its neighbors. There are several projects that they have already brought to light and show, which are the covered multi-court, as well as three new squares in different sectors and carried out with all the corresponding participation for these purposes ”.
For its part, the Seremi for Housing and Urbanism, Feda Simic, appreciated the effort made this year during the pandemic: “This reflects the work of the teams that from the municipality and the seremía were able to carry out this pandemic year, in order to comply with the community and be able to begin the works selected by the neighbors during the next year.”
The squares to be improved will be the Plazas Porvenir, Padre Luis Bertrán and Río Lingue, together with the Multicancha Las Quinchas, all of these works belonging to the Río Lingue, San Francisco, Arturo Acharán, El Porvenir and El EsfuerzoSan Francisco populations, which will benefit 459 households.
