Marios Salmas is also removed as a member of the ND. “I am honored that Mitsotakis deletes me because I spoke about the properties that are lost due to bad loans”, said M. Salmas after his deletion from the party’s Parliamentary Group, earlier today.
In particular, during his statements, Mr. Salmas attacked Mr. Mitsotakis, describing as an act of political authoritarianism his imminent deletion from the ND’s KO because he touched on issues that either have the smell of scandal or are in line with the problems and demands of the social majority.
In detail what he said in the Parliament’s peristyle:
“If Mr. Mitsotakis deletes me because I reacted to the fortunes that are being lost to bad loans, because I opposed the wok agenda for same-sex couples, because I asked him to check the cartels accurately, then I am honored. If he deletes me because I pointed out to him the need to turn to the many, then it is my honor. But if he does it to send a message to others, it is unacceptable.
If it is used as a pretext that in his presence and also in the Parliament I institutionally highlighted a photography competition of the Ministry of Culture which was scandalously awarded to a company, without competition and at the minimum price, then let me state and remind that the control of the ministers by the MPs and the unlimited freedom reason is constitutionally protected and in no case constitutes a reason for deletion.
