Did Marion Cotillard plan to settle permanently in Los Angeles as Omar Sy or did she simply invest in an American pied-à-terre for her film shoot? The answer is not officially known but Louise’s mother, 5, and Marcel, 11, will have room for her children and their father Guillaume Canet if they accompany her on the journey.
Since receiving the statuette for her portrayal of Edith PIaf in Olivier Dahan’s biopic, Marion Cotillard has made a comfortable place for herself in the Hollywood industry. His talent allowed him to shoot with the greatest directors such as Christopher Nolan, Woody Allen, James Gray or Robert Zemeckis and to give the answer to Brad Pitt (with whom he had an affair), Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Owen Wilson, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Jeremy Renner and Joaquin Phoenix.
Working in Hollywood takes time, especially when filming. It could therefore be that for practical reasons Marion Cotillard has decided to afford a nice house for her business trips (or vacations for that matter) in California. The American dream continues for Marion.
