Mario merello and the husband of Marcella Bella, the singer of “Green Mountains”. An important love that binds the couple who have been married for more than thirty years. Mario and Marcella, in fact, got married in 1979 and have never separated since. From their love three splendid children were born: Giacomo, Carolina and Tommaso. Very reserved and discreet couple, Mario and Marcella share little of their privacy. A choice certainly linked to the desire to keep the spotlight well away from their love that after more than thirty years is still solid and close-knit. He is an entrepreneur by profession, and has always been one of the most beautiful voices in Italian music alongside his wife. The couple experienced a moment of great terror in 2004 when, during a holiday in the Maldives, they found themselves having to face a terrible tsunami. An experience that Marcella herself recounted as follows: “at the third shock I told him to run to rescue our children, who were sleeping in another bungalow .. When I went out to join them I saw the wave behind me. He could have killed me, but instead he pushed me towards the pool in the center of the island. My husband was already giving me up for dead ”. The singer of “Green Mountains” from the pages of Tv Blog recalled the great joy of motherhood and her return to the scene: “I had my first child when I was young, at 26 years old. My second child arrived after 12 years, the last only 11 months later. I wanted to be with them, I wanted to see them grow. The nice thing is that after leaving the music, as soon as I picked up and made myself see again, as if by magic people came back with me. They had not forgotten me, a magic ”. A magic that the couple still lives today confirming that love, if true, has no time.
