Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood Guide – Where to find all 20 reefs

For those looking to navigate the world of Concordia in Mario & Luigi: Brotherhood, you might be interested to hear that there are some collectibles you’ll find along the way. One of these is the reefs around the ocean, and as you regularly sail past them, simply use the Shipshape Island telescope cannon to zoom in on them to record these collectibles. There is a ton of stuff to find, and here you can crop every reef in the game.

lush sea

There are three reefs to be found in this area. The first is the Weeping-Lion Reef, found in the lower left corner of the area. Next is the Pensive Reef, you can find this in the middle of the bottom. The latter is also at the bottom of this sea and is called Squiddish Reef. The last reef is also on the last stream in the area, where you will find the first Great Lighthouse Island.

Here’s a hint:

Color – Man Hai

The first Reef in this new area is found when you switch to the second stream available. It is called Broque Reef. From here, things get more complicated, as many of the other reefs are connected to currents that you can’t touch unless you advance the story. However, you don’t have to do much more to find one, just go to the bottom right corner of the sea where the Mysterious Swirl Reef is.

After getting the first locked current from before, you can go to the lower right corner of this new area, just above the Mysterious Swirl Reef, to find the Eternal-Struggle Reef. The next two reefs are on the far left, in an otherwise inaccessible stream, and require the completion of the next story block to unlock.

However, once you enter the current area, to the left of this new area, you will find Just-a-Fluke Reef. By moving the current to the lower left corner, you will also find the Ominous Reef. With these books, sea reefs were discovered full of color.

sea kicking

One of the first reefs to be found in the Browning Sea can be found in the bottom left corner. Cross the river on the far left and you will find Racers’ Reef. From here, head southeast. There are two reefs nearby. The first is further to the south, which is Ro-Turnip Reef, and the second is further to the east, and is considered to be a reef of the feather family.

The last two reefs in the Browning Sea are found by following the currents further until you find three connected currents, with (still) no other options to go west. When you get here, go far north to find Shower Reef, then go south to the middle of the Brrrning Sea to find Mushroob Reef.

gulch rock sea

Once here, you can discover every reef in the Gulchrock Sea. So, to make sure you find them all, let’s cross this sea clockwise.

The first reef on your list is Cater-Pillar Reef, located on the South Central Current. Continue walking east as far as you can and in a separate stream you will come across Off-Course Reef. If you then go into the middle of Gulchrock Sea, just under an isolated current in the middle of the area, and ride the wider outflow, you will meet Lovestruck Reef.

Now you can travel to the north. Stay in the middle of Gulchrock Sea and go as far north as you can and you’ll find Tumbling-Tower Reef, the last reef in the area, the last nearby but further west. In the very northeast end of Gulchrock Sea, you will find four smaller streams, each carrying the Island. Avoid the Islands for now and instead head to the northeast current here, the one in the upper right corner, where you can find and find the Dream-Guardian Reef.

storm star reef

The last two Concordia reefs were found in this ocean. You get one right away, but the second requires more narrative progress. The first is as far north as you can go at once, and then east of this stream. Here you will find Gardener’s Reef.

The second of the Stormstar Reefs and the last of Concordia’s Reefs is located at the northernmost point of the region, and is accessible to Zokket’s Fortress when you get the last technology to access the inaccessible water. When you do this, you will find the Princely Reef, thus ending your Reef quest in Concordia.
