Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still one of the most popular games on the Nintendo Switch, even years after its release. One way Nintendo is rewarding longtime racing game players is the Booster Course Pass.
The latest wave of courses for the Booster Course Pass also brings Birdo into the game. Besides Yoshi shooting lookalike eggs, it seems that five more characters could come to the game.
On the character selection screen, there are five free slots for characters that will be introduced in the upcoming DLC. This will likely be a favorite for Mario to return, much like Diddy Kong, but could allow for some Nintendo crossovers too, like how Link and Isabelle are playable in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now.
