After the update, both Wiggler and Shy Guy will be available in the game. Wiggler is a ‘power type’ that can hit balls relatively far, using a special stroke to knock other golf balls in the area. Shy Guy is a balanced character, according to Nintendo, with a special stroke that also blows other golf balls on impact.
The Shelltop Sactuary course is built for short holes and offers two levels of difficulty. The latter affects the distance from the green. The other new track, All-Star Summit, consists of silhouettes of Mario and is located high in the clouds.
The update is currently available to download for free for Mario Golf: Super Rush. The game was released for Nintendo Switch in June.
