Mario Delgado celebrates that TEPJF is set to endorse the Morena majority

Mexico City. The president of Morena, Mario Delgado, celebrated that the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation is set to endorse today the qualified majority of Morena and allies in the Chamber of Deputies. “It is good that they did not fall into the temptation of listening to a right that is totally given over to lies, farces, and deceit, which the people of Mexico did not accept,” he said.

In an interview upon arrival at the hotel where the plenary session of Morena’s elected senators is taking place, she stressed that, being the majority in Congress – together with her allies – they will carry out the transformation, “with the approval of the 20 reforms that the President presented last February, plus the legislative agenda that the president-elect (Claudia Sheinbaum) is proposing to the legislators.”

The people of Mexico “determined that this transformation should continue, and we are about to start the new legislature. We are very happy with this majority,” he said.

“I am pleased that the Court is respecting the will expressed by the majority of the people of Mexico at the polls on June 2, in a free and democratic manner,” he said.

He stressed: “There was no deception here, people were faced with the plan ca series of reforms that he strongly supported. Now, the task of the legislators of our movement is to fulfill the mandate that the people clearly gave us at the polls.”
